Virtual Circuit's Meetings

The Virtual Circuit was first organized during the Sioux City N4C Convention in September 2000. The original members were:

Virtual Circuit's second meeting, at Springbrook, 5/2002:

l-r: George Bebout, Viola Bebout, Diane M. Whisnant, Kerry Whisnant, Gerald Bonsack,
Gene Schwope, Robert Rude (not present: John Zoerb)

Items discussed:
1. Ed Siems and Teresa Vokoun would like to join the circuit. They'll work on getting a web site ready for their entries. That brings our number up to 10. Those present felt that was enough feedback to have to write. So we'll hold our number to 10, for now, or at some point, only have 1 entry per person if we want more members later on.

2. George discussed the gamma correction settings and how each of our monitors' differences could affect colors of each other's photos. George recommends changing it from 2.8 to 2.2. Here's how to check/ correct your setting if you have a PC and Windows:
Go to Control Panel, Display, Advanced, Gamma Correction (see the number at which you're set in the little box).
(P.S. on 5-15-02: This didn't work for me yet, so until I hear from George, I don't know how to correct it.)
